The third boxing encounter between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez on Nov. 12, 2011 didn't turn out to be much exciting and interesting to the expectation of the boxing fans.
Despite Manny Pacquaio's victory over Juan Manuel Marquez by majority decision, the boxing croud were still left with doubts in their minds about the outcome. Juan Manuel Marquez on the other hand still can not believe that he lost this fight. It was the expectation of their camp to grab this opportunity to redeem themselves, however they still believe that they've been robbed again of the win.
Manny Pacquiao's performance did not give much improvements, despite his promise to give the fans their moneys' worth and give his best to make the fight as interesting as he can be.
In a short interview by Max Kellerman on Manny Pacquiao after the fight, he asked Manny if his performance tonight is the real outcome of what he's been preparing for? Manny admitted that the outcome did not turn out to be what he was expecting, for some reason that Marquez just kept backing-off and waited and waited for Manny to unleash his power then he will go out with his counter-punches. If Marquez really wants to beat Manny, he should have initiated to be on the offensive, rather than the otherway around. If you are the challenger, you need to show to the Judges that you are in control of the fight, and to give the judges an action that could make them go on your side.
In my own opinion, I think it would be better for Marquez to just retire from boxing to finish their unsettled business and to concede that no matter what he do, he can not win against Manny. His limelight is already over. He can not go up anymore because he is getting older.
If you watched the fight last night, what is your opinion about how the fight turn out to be?
